Asia Timur Assets And Jababeka Group Sign MOU On Strategic Cooperation
On July 22nd, Asia Timur Assets and Jababeka Group signed a strategic cooperation MOU in Jababeka Industrial City, Bekasi, Indonesia, which was signed by Mr. Yuan Bang, Managing Director of Asia Timur Assets, and Mr. Rudy, General Manager of Industrial Department of Jababeka Group, on behalf of the two parties. The signing marks the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two sides, which contributes to a new chapter of friendly cooperation between China and Indonesia.
Asia Timur Assets (ATA) is an investment management entity established in Indonesia by China’s leading industrial and logistics infrastructure developer, CrectGroup. ATA has invested in the development and management of 1.5 million square meters of modern industrial and logistics infrastructure in China. In order to better serve ATA’s global clients and meet the investment and development needs of Chinese enterprises in Indonesia, ATA plans to develop and construct modern industrial and logistics infrastructure in Indonesia and provide investment and management services for its clients to realize the industrial layout of “CN+N”.
Jababeka Group (Jababeka) is a renowned industrial real estate developer in Indonesia, which develops and owns the largest industrial parks in Southeast Asia – Jababeka Industrial City located in the east of Jakarta, and Kendall Industrial Park located in Central Java. The above two industrial zones have become important investment areas in the Greater Jakarta region and Central Java respectively.
According to the MOU, the two parties will cooperate in various areas such as the development of industrial and logistics properties and the development of markets in both countries.
In the past two years, with the accelerating process of globalization, the demand for supply chain globalization has been growing rapidly, superimposed on the transformation and upgrading of China’s domestic industrial chain and the demand for supply chain overseas brought about by geopolitical factors, which has prompted Chinese enterprises to accelerate the layout of overseas industry “China+N”. Indonesia has become one of the preferred destination countries for Chinese enterprises to go overseas due to its unique advantages. China and Indonesia are each other’s important trading partners, and China is Indonesia’s largest trading partner and the largest source of investment in Indonesia.
